More than 40 years ago Rik Storms began his journey in the restoration of monumental buildings, including the Begijnhof and Busleidengang at the Vismarkt in Leuven, private homes, castles, and farms. Over the years, he expanded his passion to selling old and antique building materials, which were restored with skill and care.

This in-depth expertise brought him into contact with renowned architect Raymond Rombouts, among others, which resulted in a close collaboration and an enrichment of his architectural vision. This allowed him to integrate historic building materials into various contexts in a unique way.

The rich knowledge and love for the craft were passed on to his son Karl Storms. At the age of 15, Karl took his first steps into the world of authentic building materials. In 2008 he confidently took over the company.
With passion and drive, Karl Storms transformed the company into an international player. n recent years, successful projects have been realized worldwide with, in particular, a large number of them in Great Britain.
There he has established a permanent base of operations since 2015.

To maintain our promise of quality and authenticity, Karl has invested in modernization and automation in recent years. These investments contribute to a promising future, in which we continue to strive to provide high-quality building materials with timeless allure.
